In Memory of Justin McAllister ~
On September 11, 2023 Justin McAllister passed away at the age of 19.
The Gentle Giant: Hundreds gathered a few nights later in Clarksburg where Justin grew up with his family and friends to support the community through this heartbreaking loss.
A vigil to pay tribute was held at Sacramento City College Hughes stadium where he was currently attending school and a member of the football team as an offensive tackle lineman. It was during practice that Justin collapsed and passed later that evening. The stadium was filled with love for the young man with the greatest smile ever.
Tributes continue to flow in for Justin. May he feel all the love from his family and friends of this incredible community.
Family in the Community: Justin's family includes his twin brother, Jack, his younger brother, Gavin, and his parents Lloyd and Mary. We extend prayers, strength, and support to you all. The Rotary family is honored to be a part of Justin's incredible successes. We know he touched so many lives during his short journey in life and his loss is deeply heartbreaking.
A Triple Sport Athlete: At Delta High School, Justin made his mark a Triple Sport Athlete with accomplishments in Football, Baseball, and Basketball. After graduating in 2022, he continued towards his dreams.
The Rotarian Connection in our Community: Justin is a Scholarship recipient from our club. Our scholarship program enables students a bit more support towards their education. Rotary is honored to have Justin as a recipient and we continue to support his great smile and huge heart!
